CAM Mover's Edge, Mid-September, 2010

They’re in the Mail!

The fall 2010 issue of The Canadian Mover, CAM’s fall 2010 magazine and directory, and the 2010 annual conference are in the mail.

Watch for them and let us know what you think. Use the magazine as a resource for connecting to movers and suppliers across Canada and around the world.

Register for our annual conference. It’s our best lineup of speakers ever and the most value for you as a business owner, manager or salesperson.

CAM’s Annual Awards

The recipients of CAM’s awards have been determined. They are:

  • Distinguished Service Award – Bob Tuckett
  • Founders Award – Bill O’Donnell
  • Innovators Award – Glenn Thomsen

They were nominated by you, selected by your board of directors and will be awarded at CAM’s awards dinner on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Annual Conference.

CAM has added a new award – Public Service Award. It recognizes an individual or group who has performed an act or acts of moving-related service in the public interest. The first awardee is Detective Kevin Hooper of the Toronto Police Service who arrested and charged one of Toronto’s moving nightmares.
