CAM’s 2010 Annual Conference
Exactly two weeks from now, attendees at the Canadian Association of Movers 2010 Annual Conference will be listening to our opening keynote speaker – Roy Osing – talk about business strategy and differentiation. Roy will give the first of 12 presentations each of which is designed to provide information that you, as a business leader, can use to improve your profitability.
There will be topics that will cover all areas of your business:
- Strategy
- Diversification
- Marketing
- Consumer demographics
- The law and its enforcement
- The economy
- Enabling technologies
- Communicating with the customer
- Geographic differences in the marketplace
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting will be held at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. It will be followed by an open discussion on the direction for CAM in 2011. Your input will be appreciated.
The minutes of the 2009 Annual General Meeting are being sent to all members. Copies will not be distributed at the Annual General Meeting.
A request for a proxy will be sent to all members. If you do not plan to attend the annual general meeting, please complete the form and return it to CAM’s national office. It will help.
2010 Awards Dinner
Join us on Monday evening, November 15, when we recognize respected members of Canada’s moving industry with CAM’s annual awards:

Hotel Deadline
The deadline for registering for the special rate at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel has passed. A few rooms may still be available at the block rate of $155 per night.
BUT…we have made arrangements with the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel next door (901 Dixon Road) to accept any registrants at the $155 per night rate. Contact Mary Gauci at 416-679-7772 between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Eastern time or at mary.gauci@marriott.com to make a reservation.
