Most Canadian provinces regulate conditions of carriage and bills of lading for trucking household goods. Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories currently do not regulate in this area. The conditions of carriage rules among provinces that do regulate are essentially consistent. The conditions of carriage and bills of lading regulations for moving household goods in provinces with such regulations are provided below.
